  • Do you accept insurance?

    We are an out-of-network provider, meaning we are not currently partnered with any insurance companies. Upon request, we provide superbills which are itemized receipts to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We do not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance. You can pay with your FSA/HSA account.

  • We currently offer pelvic floor physical therapy services for people with vaginal anatomy (whether you identify as female, nonbinary or transgender).   • With your consent, we can examine your external and/or internal pelvic floor muscles. An internal assessment is done either vaginally or rectally, depending on your symptoms. Your physical therapist will use a gloved, lubricated finger to assess the internal muscles and tissues that could be contributing to your symptoms. Your physical therapist will be explaining the examination every step of the way. You always have the right to decline an internal assessment, without question.

  • Menstrual bleeding does not interfere with our ability to continue your session however it is up to your comfort level. Please keep in mind our cancellation policy.

  • Yes, you are welcome to involve a partner, friend or family member in your physical therapy journey.

  • Yes! We never want childcare to be a barrier to treatment.

  • At your first appointment, your physical therapist will determine a recommendation based on the assessment. Due to the uniqueness of everyone’s case, the number of recommended sessions can vary.

  • You must cancel prior to 24 hours before your session or you will be charged the full cost of your booked appointment. Each patient receives one waived cancellation fee during their course of treatment which may be used for illness, emergencies, etc.

  • In the state of Masscahusetts, you do not need a physician referral or prescription for physical therapy services. Please check with your insurance company to confirm if you will need to provide one for reimbursement.

  • As soon as you feel ready! Many patients prefer to begin with a virtual session in the first month or two post delivery to begin the assessment and determine what care will look like. We will wait until you are cleared around 6 weeks postpartum by your OBGYN before performing any internal pelvic floor assessments.

  • Yes! Pelvic floor physical therapy can help to prepare your body for labor and delivery. We can discuss and practice exercises to improve comfort during your pregnancy and labor, perineal stretching to reduce risk of tearing, breathing techniques, pushing techniques, & labor and delivery positions.

  • There is metered street parking available on Station St as well as a public lot behind the building on Kent St (across from the Goldfish Swim School). We do not validate for parking.
